My name is Angela Renzetti and I’m an herbalist, yoga practitioner, and a student of acupuncture and Chinese medicine!
Many different healing traditions have brought me where I am today and I would like to share this journey with you. I believe in preventative medicine, which to me means taking care of yourself through daily routines of eating well, exercise & taking herbs so that you can have less frequent illness and more balance day-to-day through balance of mind, body & spirit. I have found over the years, the best way to stay healthy is through the simplest activities. The simpler the better, I say!
I currently study at the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine for a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. My studies include Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, bodywork and Chinese translation. (You can look at my schedule here and set up an appointment with me!) I have also studied Western herbalism and Ayurveda with various teachers and continue to do so. In 2012, I completed my 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at 8 Limbs Yoga Centers and I am also attuned to my first level of Reiki. Before all of that, I studied Chinese language for many years and lived in East Asia.
My hope is that through this blog and working with me, you will find tools to help you carve out your path towards a healthy, happy life!
